Why Not?

Why Not? – Designing the Spirit of Iceland was a short film created for Icelandair around DesignMarch 2021, celebrating Icelandic creativity through the work of eight local designers.

I worked closely with art director Nina Knudsen to create the illustrated opening title sequence, with a lot of freedom to explore both the visual style and animation. Together we developed an organic and playful language, drawing from some of Icelandair's key colours and creating forms and shapes inspired by the work of the designers featured in the film.

I developed the motion language and animated the title sequence, giving each designer their own visual moment while keeping everything connected as one system.
